We walked into this idyllic cottage and stopped in our tracks....everything about it was breathtaking....the view beyond gorgeous.... decorated luxurious with amazing attention to details...cathedral ceilings...beautiful coral stone floors....regal four... read more poster bed that was the most comfortable bed we ever slept in...exceptionally clean...it’s like we stepped into my dream of the perfect beach cottage...it could not be more romantic...We extensively traveled throughout the Caribbean and String of Pearls is our favorite place we ever stayed!

The cottage was far enough from yet close enough to town! The little beach and kayak were exceptional. The cottage is within walking distance to the Westin for a dinner “out” and walking distance to St John Market where we were able to get our meal needs for meals “at home”.
String of Pearls made an amazing vacation even better! BJ is so nice and the property management team, Linda and Pam of St John Properties, made the trip coordination a breeze with excellent communication from the very beginning of inquiry to coordinating our taxi and ferry services to personal welcome, and even delivering a bag of ice! 5 Stars without a doubt! So pleased! our next visit will include String of Pearls!

The view is amazing, place is cozy, relaxation is just what any doctor would order.... read more We thought we would have to rent a car to go anywhere - but with the Westin just past the neighbors house - we caught the cabs to take us to the beachs, the tour of the island and to the town/resturants/grocery store. Not many places to rent there that are right on the water - this one is right on Cruz Bay. Even though there are houses on each side - your privacy is not disturbed! There is a pool on the property now that was nice. Anyone wanting to get away and relax - this is the place! Owner is wonderful too!!
