The open concept helped it feel bigger and also feel connected to the outside. The view is beautiful.
The hot tub was not working at the time, and the pool was getting drained for maintenance. We did not miss not having either. The mosquito's were crazy bad on the deck.. but we still tried to sit out there any time we were "home". We felt so comfortable here.
The closeness to the Westin seemed appealing when we booked this villa.. .We walked down once for drinks.. The property was gorgeous. We felt a little like we didn't belong. Almost like they knew we were not guests there! Nothing bad.. just a weird vibe.
Again, great location, beautifully furnished. We will choose to stay here again when we visit STJ. We absolutely fell in love

  I have never been any where like this. String of Pearls has everything you need. The view is amazing, place is cozy, relaxation is just what any doctor would order.... read more We thought we would have to rent a car to go anywhere - but with the Westin just past the neighbors house - we caught the cabs to take us to the beachs, the tour of the island and to the town/resturants/grocery store. Not many places to rent there that are right on the water - this one is right on Cruz Bay. Even though there are houses on each side - your privacy is not disturbed! There is a pool on the property now that was nice. Anyone wanting to get away and relax - this is the place! Owner is wonderful too!!

  String of Pearls offered us our own paradise! The cottage is adorable, perfect for the 2 of us (though we could see how our kids would also benefit staying here... read more (9 and 10). The cottage was far enough from yet close enough to town! The little beach and kayak were exceptional. The cottage is within walking distance to the Westin for a dinner “out” and walking distance to St John Market where we were able to get our meal needs for meals “at home”.
String of Pearls made an amazing vacation even better! BJ is so nice and the property management team, Linda and Pam of St John Properties, made the trip coordination a breeze with excellent communication from the very beginning of inquiry to coordinating our taxi and ferry services to personal welcome, and even delivering a bag of ice! 5 Stars without a doubt! So pleased! our next visit will include String of Pearls!
